I opened my 4-year-old's closet last weekend and clothes literally fell on my head. Not a shirt or two. A full avalanche. Tiny pants from when he was 2. A onesie that somehow survived three kids. Traveling Troops: Hitting the Road with Kids

Taking a trip with your kids? Epic! Here are some tips to keep the good vibes rolling, even when the road gets bumpy:

Snack Attack: Pack plenty of snacks, and then pack some more. Hungry kids = cranky kids.

Plan for the Unplannable: Got a plan? Great! Now throw in some room for spur-of-the-moment ice cream stops and unplanned detours. Sometimes those unplanned moments make the best memories!

Safety Dance: Keep a first aid kit on hand, know where you’re going, and prep the kids on safety basics. Better safe than sorry!

Kiddo’s Choice: Let the little ones pick an activity. It’s their vacation too, right?
