This Week's Parenting Wins: Celebrating the Small (But Actually Huge) Moments

"Some weeks feel like survival mode. But this week?  This week had some wins worth celebrating... and I'm taking a moment to soak them in before the next diaper blowout or meltdown over the 'wrong' cup." The Milestones That Make Your Heart Melt My win:  My daughter waved for the first time this week. Not just a random hand flail, an actual, intentional wave goodbye to her dad. And then she did it again. And again. I may have teared up. She's also decided that "uh-oh" is her new favorite phrase. Everything is "uh-oh." Dropped her toy? Uh-oh. Knocked over her sippy cup? Uh-oh. Had the dogs eat from her hands...  "uh-oh" (I love this stage). The best part?  She's not just babbling, she's  talking to me . Making eye contact, waiting for my reaction, trying to tell me things in her own little language. From School to Weekend Fun: What’s Your Family Up To This Fall?

What’s Your Family Up To This Fall?

Hello BUBS Families.

How’s the School Year Going So Far?

We’re already a couple of months into the school year, and it feels like time is flying by! How’s everyone adjusting to the new routines? Fall is a season of change in most of our lives, whether it's school starting for kids, or the beginning of seasonal activities.

How have your fall activities been?

If you have not gone for a walk in the fall air yet, pumpkin patches are always an autumn favorite, making it easy to get the whole family in on the fun. Something about strolling through rows of pumpkins with a steaming cup of apple cider and watching the kids find their perfect gourd, it's definitely one for the memories.

For those who love staying active, fall can also bring a whole new set of adventures. Whether it’s hiking through colorful forests, taking family bike rides on the weekend, or even setting up a cozy backyard fire pit for marshmallow roasting, there’s so much to enjoy.

What After-School or Weekend Activities Are Your Kids In?

With the new school year underway, kids are exploring the after-school and recreational or team programs. How about your little ones? Are they playing soccer, going to dance class, or trying something new like gymnastics or art?

It is a weekend of game days for some families, cheering from the sidelines as kids score goals or run across. Some might have dance recitals to go to or karate classes. And it is always awesome to see how these activities help children develop their self-confidence, meet new friends and have so much fun.

Whatever your fall looks like, we’d love to hear from you! How are your kiddos enjoying the season? Whether it’s pumpkin picking, after-school sports, or something totally different

Here’s to making the most of this beautiful season.
