Spring Cleaning with Kids: The First Closet Purge of 2026

I opened my 4-year-old's closet last weekend and clothes literally fell on my head. Not a shirt or two. A full avalanche. Tiny pants from when he was 2. A onesie that somehow survived three kids. A Halloween costume from 2024 that I swore I donated. It's April. The weather is finally turning. And I realized: half this closet doesn't even fit him anymore. Sound familiar? The Spring Closet Reality Check Here's what I found in one closet: 47 shirts (he wears maybe 8 on rotation) 12 pairs of pants that are too short 3 winter coats (we live in Jersey City, not Antarctica) A bin labeled "6-12 months" for my now-1-year-old who is solidly in 18 months This isn't hoarding. Exciting News: Hello BUBS Beta is Live!

Hello BUBS Family,

We’re beyond excited to announce that the Hello BUBS beta is officially live! 

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who signed up to be part of this journey. Your support means everything, and we can’t wait to hear what you think as you dive into the app.

If you’re part of our beta program, we’d love for you to explore and test out some of the basic features:


• Create an Account: Get started by setting up your profile.

• Edit Your Profile: Customize your account to make it feel like home.

• Create a Seller Account: If you’ve got children’s gear to sell, this is your moment!

• List an Item for Sale: Snap a photo, write a description, and list your items.

• Message a Seller: Have a question about an item? Shoot the seller a message.


Right now, the checkout feature isn’t fully active, as we are transitioning our payment processing API from sandbox to production. In the meantime, feel free to poke around and get a feel for the app. Keep in mind, we’re still in beta, so some things might not look perfect or work flawlessly just yet.

Your feedback is super important to us! If you run into any bugs or have suggestions for improvement, don’t hesitate to let us know. This app is for you, and your insights will help shape it as we move forward.
